Circulating Glioma Cells: Biomarker of Response to Radiation Therapy

In this presentation, Jay F. Dorsey, MD, PhD, examines Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) as biomarkers for response to radiation therapy, with a focus on detection methods for CTCs (i.e., EpCAM and telomerase), an overview of the CTC assay workflow, identification of genetic drivers for CTCs, ongoing CTC research at Penn Medicine, and future directions for the therapy.
