Henry R. Kranzler, MD, examines efforts at the Penn Center for Precision Medicine to develop a genetic index of opioid sensitivity personalized to individuals at risk in order to prevent both under- and over-prescription of these highly addictive drugs. Dr. Kranzler is a Professor of Psychiatry at Penn Medicine.
