Live Case: PVC Ablation | Marchlinski Electrophysiology Lab at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania

In October 2019, Dr. Francis Marchlinski and colleagues at Penn Medicine’s esteemed Cardiac Arrhythmia Program hosted the 14th Annual International Symposium on Ventricular Arrhythmias in Philadelphia. In this video, Dr. Marchlinski leads a panel of renowned experts as they observe and comment upon an ablation procedure live-streamed from the Marchlinski Electrophysiology Lab at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Featuring a patient with debilitating premature ventricular contractions, the ablation is illustrated on-screen by preliminary intramural real-time mapping of the heart and a subsequent computer-generated depiction of catheter placement. Throughout the ablation, the Electrophysiology operators provide commentary and direction and respond to expert queries.
