Dry Eye Diagnosis and Treatment

In this video Mina Massaro-Giordano, MD, discusses the diagnosis and treatment of keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye syndrome). A condition that might more accurately be described as tear film dysfunction syndrome, dry eye syndrome (DES) is caused by lipid, aqueous and mucin deficiencies at the eye. Dr. Massaro-Giordano explores these defects in detail, and the variety of medical and technological therapies now available to treat them.
